Hello ALL
I was born in Manekpore in 1956 in the famous Asala Mama's house, lived there till i was 10 n witnessed the 'big' raid in Hajat Street! Not a pleasant experience though.
Keep up the good work.

mashallah really enjoyed browsing this site. Actually have Harangam (jogee/dhorat/chisti!) background and was just browsing the web and stumbled here - I wish someone would make a website like this for all the common villages represented by people in the UK from places like Leicester, Blackburn, London, Batley, Dewsbury etc. It will make a beautiful historical record of where people from this area have been travelling to over the generations!

back home where our roots lie. Thanks you.
